austerity measures
good morning guys! i hope your day is off to a great start. i’ve been hearing so much about greece for the last few months that today i searched a few pics and remembered why i love it so much. it’s the perfect combination of simplicity and strength.
with what’s going on under my window i’m almost ready to move to an island! i wonder if it would help if we all vacationed there for the next few years?
anyway it’s becoming pretty austere here, most of my stuff is out and all that’s left is ironically the ikea furniture. i guess those pieces end up being staples, sort of like kakhis from the gap.
i finally like the way the furniture is laid out now that i’m leaving. it’s become a bit of a photo studio for the past couple weeks and the apartment hunt is still on.
all i really feel like doing is blog a little and read what you all have been up to. i did get a little ride of the wave last night and wanted to share some of the breadcrumbs left behind since a simple, positive theme kept showing up. i kept a couple of the links and am posting them before i head out. still trying to keep a shiny attitude, eat right, feel my heart beat and stay on top of work. i hope you enjoy a little morning sunshine and have a fantastique day!

ps to all my lovely friends who leave comments: wordpress has a ‘new’feature where you receive all comments on a post after you leave one. it’s a default that you manually have to select not to receive them so please check that out and uncheck it if you don’t want that! i’m trying to get them to remove it but have a feeling it’s going to take a few emails…

Okay, I’m going to go out on a limb and choose a perfume for you, which is totally appropriate since I’ve never met you. ;-) But I think you would like True Religion for Women. It’s a light, fresh floral, soft and subtle (definitely not overpowering) and not too sweet. It’s romantic and not always easy to find (a good thing, because who wants to be wearing the equivalent of Eternity in the early ’90s?) and you can get it on Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/Religion-Women-Fragrances-3-4oz-100ml/dp/B002XQ1YDQ/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=2U8PRF1L2CGEA&coliid=I189UEQDU02YH1. You’re welcome!

what a great list of daily ‘to-do’s’
BUT, for those of us with asthma perfume is deadly ! along with the scented detergents now that have me close to be becoming a recluse !
i hope someone continues the studies re: the toxicity of the detergent/additive products that seem to be getting stronger and stronger with the LAYERING now. there is a doctor in Pa. who has said that womens breast tissue stores the chemicals in these fragrances–scarey!

Gasp! I wanted to stop at the first photo–took my breath away! But, I read on, and glad I did. Still sad that the construction is forcing your move, but one never knows the reason why the move will really take place. And, the “How to have a lovely day” list–I saved that the other day and thought I’d post it eventually myself. Was happy to re-read it!
