change done come

natasha

goodbye to natasha richardson, a world of women in one. you will be missed.
she once said “i wake up every morning feeling lucky – which is driven by fear, no doubt, since i know it could all go away’.

the white countess

not to be dark but she was optimistic saying could, not will.

i don’t know too many of her films but will look for them now and try to understand her life and legacy. and even in passing she’s still living on in a different way, affecting safety considerations on the slopes and setting off a wave of information on how to handle head trauma at the time of injury.

guess the only thing we can count on is change as they say. i know i have a lot of changes to make. i’ll start tomorrow for sure. see? she’s even inspiring me. i’m sure she was in the middle of living life to the fullest and i’d like to do the same.

well, it’s been a long day of information overload on every level so i’m gonna turn in and read for awhile.

It is so tragic and I cannot begin to imagine how her family are feeling. To start a happy holiday like that and end in such a way does not bare thinking about. xv

So tragic! I wonder how many people die of head injuries like this that we’ve never heard about? I really loved her films. She was classy.

I was in Los Angeles in the mid 90’s and I saw Natasha and Liam get out of a car and they were the most glamorous couple and they genuinely looked in love. They kept smiling at each other and both were very friendly to everyone in the store they entered. I am so sad this happened. She was always so classy and nice. I am so sorry for her family too. It’s tragic.

this was such sad news. i can’t imagine what her family must be going through.

“the comfort of strangers” was the first movie i saw her in, and i thought she was fantastic in that. i’ve always thought that for someone who came from acting royalty and who was also gorgeous, she seemed so down-to-earth and funny. i remember seeing her once on martha stewart’s show. martha said something like, “i have a crush on your husband” and without missing a beat, natasha smiled and said, “you’re allowed.” it was really funny and cute.
