that’s what’s up
good morning guys! I hope you had a fantastic weekend. i’m finally recharged after getting to bed early every night for the past few days. i haven’t felt like i had much to say lately cause, as you know, i can’t write when i have a TO DO list, but it’s finally dwindling ever so slightly! i wasn’t going to mention any of the following press cause, well, it’s kind of self promoting but i thought what the heck, isn’t this a ‘log’ of what happens? and i have acknowledge and thank the editors and magazines for actually thinking of me for their articles. and since things can get tough and overwhelming, at least i’ll have this to look back on when i’m 100 and remember the good old days!
and now back to us! i’ve been meaning to do this giveaway since before the holidays and it’s now or never! gliteratti has sent two divine books from their new collection. the first is ‘stealing magnolias’ and the second is ‘three weeks with coco chanel in 1962’. if you’d like either of them, specify which and we’ll draw a winner for each on friday.
i wonder if the sartorialist would have stopped her today?
these are from the magnolias book, it’s filled with traditions and memories of new orleans and life in the south from yesterday and today. just gorgeous, i love both books!
well have a great week. i hope we all get a lot done and love doing it!

Congrats on all of your features! I enjoyed reading your feature in Romantic Homes. I haven’t seen the recent issue of Martha Stewart Weddings. I’ll have to go buy it!
Either of these books would be wonderful to have, but if you would like for us to specify…The book on Coco Chanel would be lovely to own!
Bonne semaine,

First, congratulations on all the magazines spots!
The books are lovely, but if I had to pick, it would be the Magnolia’s book. New Orleans is one of my favorite places in the world, it’s steamy decadence is provocative, and the culture speaks to my very core. I would love to own that beautiful tome.

Wow! Congratulations on all that press coverage – magnifique! The Coco Chanel book looks wonderful (I’m sure she would make an appearance on all the great street style blogs today) and I was wondering if your giveaway is open to UK readers? If yes, then I’d be happy to be counted in – if no, then I’m sure the book will make somebody else very happy :-) Have a good Monday, Love from London xo

How wonderful for you to be experiencing an abundance of coverage. Your talent deserves the attention. Both books are fabulous. Would be terribly hard to decide, but this very moment I have to go with Stealing Magnolia’s. And, what a great question in regards to whether or not the Sartorialist would have chosen Coco. Have a great week!

Bon Jour! My first time to post! I’ve had your book for a while now and have been peeping in to your site for a long time. Always love the gorgeous photos, it’s my bit of calm and beauty in an otherwise busy workday. I would adore winning the Stealing Magnolias book……I have had one failed attempt at a vacation in the Big Easy years ago, and a disappointing day trip there once before that (went for lunch {yum}, but was denied a chance to go to an estate sale, which still haunts me to this very day!). But I continue to wish and plan for a trip there one day again soon, albeit post-Katrina. The mystery and decadent elegance of the city beckons to my very soul, for reasons I cannot explain. I must have lived there in a former life! Thanks for the chance to win.
