la tabula rasa

hi everyone! how’s your brand new year going?  hope it’s good so far.  personally i’ve been busy non stop. mostly playing catch up for enjoying so much family and holiday time. it sure was worth it! now i’m back in miami and hoping this year is going to be especially productive. i’d like to finish some of my many un-done projects.

it would be endless to try and list the things i’d like to accomplish this year, but  i hope to get one project finished each month. maybe it’s overly ambitious but at least it’s a target. truth is that i hate having any obligations. even self imposed is going to be tough. but i’m over the alternative.

and just to make sure my goals are unrealistic but attainable, wordpress is challenging bloggers to put up a post a day for a next year. i like the idea on principal and will give it a whirl. at the least it will  be a log of what’s happening (or not)! maybe you want to do it too?

so…with an annoyingly intermittent internet connection tonight, i’ll bid adieu and god willing,  be back tomorrow! bon soiree, have a great weekend!

I have to admit that putting up a post a day is really ambitious even for me, to much going on in my life like most people. Plus I don’t want to bore everyone to death but it’ll be fun to see if you can do it. Happy New Year Claudia!

in the light of day, you may be right. i have way too much going on and don’t want to bore anyone either! they do have one that’s once a week, maybe that’s more realistic…

Well I can’t wait to see what you have for us. Glad that your holiday was filled with fun.
Happy New Year and have a great weekend, Claudia.

    Happy New Year Claudia!
looking forward to all of yourpoststhis year! Onceperweek or once per day, yours are always the ones I look forward to the most. I love the idea of completing a project per month, I may have to hop aboard that bandwagon and try that mnyself.
Wishing you all of the best this year and very excited to see where you go this year!

Whew! Once a day seems a little like setting myself up for failure, which is one of my resolutions to NOT do! I love once a week, so that if I skip a few days, I don’t feel defeated. I think we should all try to be a little kinder to ourselves this year…no more over-scheduling, over-buying, over-eating or drinking. Well, we’ll have to see about that last part! Ha!
    You’re the Best!

    Happy happy new year!

hey mes amis, happy new year to you and thanks for your input. i know what you mean about over-scheduling.

it’s also a matter of sending out something that will go into subscribers’ inboxes every day. i don’t want to do that to them cause we already have enough stimulation! i do have another blog on wordpress that i haven’t touched and am thinking it could be sort of a private journal, just you guys will know about it!

I totally agree about having a target. Without a plan, I usually get next to nothing accomplished. Here’s to a year of “getting things done!”
