it’s the little things
happy monday everyone ~ i hope you’re winding down a little and doing just what you want!
i wanted to introduce those of you who don’t know her to one of my readers, amy friend. she sent me a link to her work today and i just fell in love. in this series she shoots her grandmother’s old nightgowns. if you’re like me, you’re a sucker for those old beauties. i was mesmerized by the way she brings them back to life. they’re almost like sea creatures.
below are some of her interior shots. amazing what good light and french doors can do…oh and the right photographer!
well, i confess, i just wanted to stop in and say hey and feel creative even just for a minute. i’m actually working on the tedious technical grooming of all my email contacts combined with the creation of a special newsletter that needs to get done pronto. it’s a big one and i want to finish it and get it sent (hopefully to you guys), which by the by, if i don’t have your email address and you want to get the news, email me at theparisapartment@gmail.com or leave a comment and mention it, i can get it from there.
ps if you do host a giveaway, i’ll put it in the newsletter so let me know!
ok back to it! have a fab nuit!
pss it’s a couple days later, amy is such a doll and we added these to the boutique, take a look if you get a chance:

I think you have my email address but here it is again just in case. I just happen to be giving a giveaway right now on my blog although not anything to do with decorating, just to celebrate nine years of blogging. It ends April 30th so I’m not sure if it will be in time for your newletter.

Hi Claudia,
Thankyou so much for visiting my blog again and this new stuff of your friend Amy’s is absolutely ethereal and transcends some sort of goddess like status. I love it all! I’m expecting to see some beautiful Greek goddess reach for her nightie any second. Best wishes,Therese

Love the angelic nightgowns! What a fascinating concept for photographing fabric … they float, they swim, they move!
