first days of the decade

it’s crazy how fast the last decade one flew by for everyone i talk to.  i’d like to find ways to make this one slow down a little.

what a couple weeks. today finally feels like it’s the end of the party and back to work. thank god work is play sometimes. as luck would have it, this was the week for the antique market on lincoln road in south beach. i had the urge to get something and found this vintage inkwell and feathers. it looks happy to be on the table right now!

boy, it’s been full steam for what seems like a really long time. tomorrow i’d love to hit the sands for a walk at dawn. but there’still one more blissful sunday night of RnR and here it is. i finally have some time to stop by and say hi. thanks for all your good wishes! here’s to bright and beautiful 2010. i’m so glad we’re in it together!

hmmm, how can we slow down time? i think for me it will be focusing more at tasks at hand instead of multi-taking for one. another thing is to try to make every day have a little something special in it to remember it by. funny how days can run together, even the years themselves. guess i’d call it being more mindful and looking for ways to commemorate each day.
