one last hurrah

hi guys, hope you’re having a good night and are tucked in warm and safe with the ones you love~

just wanted to say congrats to melissa from for winning the book from yesterday’s giveaway. the photo above is from her site and below is one of her etsy faves.

at first it was fun to do these giveaways but the truth is that i wish there were enough books to give one to everybody. soooooo, the only way i can really do that is to give away my own book since i have some on hand! if you want one for yourself, just leave a comment and i’ll randomly select 10 winners tomorrow and send them all out on saturday.

i’m leaving for nyc on sunday so these are my last few days to tie up loose ends and send out my gifts to you. also coming to the close of my 90 day regime on the 20th. it went so fast and i didn’t accomplish all i hoped, but then again, there are still a few days left to try!

just randomly…all we hear about on the news is jobs, jobs, jobs! i came across this site which has a ton of great opportunities posted, so if you’re in the market, check it out, there’s some really good stuff:

have a wonderful night!

Yeah!! I have never won anything on all the blog giveaways I have entered so far. Yours is the first one, and I’m so glad I did. Whoohoo!!! I really wanted that book. Just to let you know also I don’t have an etsy shop. The etsy items on my blog are just my favorites from etsy. I’ll be sending you an e-mail with my address soon. Thanks again so much for this wonderful giveaway!

    Hello Claudia,

What a wonderful thing to do—give away’s are fun even if one does not win.

Have a safe and fun trip to NYC, I wonder if the stores are decorated as beautifully as last year — they were truly a feast for the eyes all white on white.
Enjoy the holiday season and hope Santa is generous with you.

    Hi Claudia,
Thanks again so much for the book. I am going to post about it on my blog tomorrow. It’s been some long days lately with work and Hanukkah celebrations every night this week, but tomorrow, I will have a few hours to rest.

  40. Page replied:

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have your book. I just found your blog this week and just found out you HAVE a book! I know how to buy vintage (30’s, 40’s) furniture cheap, but I have no idea how to decorate – I mean none – it totally stops at the furniture. After now living (renting) a 1920’s home for 3 years – this week, after moving the couch in our small living room for the third time in 3 years – I really nailed it and our living room is set up. I am so stuck when it comes to window treatments and the like (soft goods). Thanks for a great blog. I can’t wait to review every post in the New Year. Merry Christmas!

  41. Sue replied:

Claudia…I would love love love to have your book. What a great Christmas gift it would be! Happy Holidays to you and your family! Sue in SRQ (*.*)

  42. Kelly replied:

Claudia, thank you! I read the book cover to cover as soon as it arrived. It’s lovely! You should be very proud :)

  43. theparisapartment replied:

hey kelly, so glad you liked it! happy new year!

  44. Sandra Sheets replied:

Claudia, to follow up on the book giveaway request, I would love it autographed (to Sandy)! Thanks! Sandy–
