there are so many pretty things it makes me weak! but getting lost in never never land can keep you from doing just about anything else including eating and sleeping so i’m about to wrap it up and go read.

on a night like tonight, i could never retrace my steps, but it’s so nice to know these links will be here forever now, preserved. most of my everyday friends don’t even know i have a blog. some people don’t give it credibility and even think it’s frivolous. but it’s such a fundamental way to connect, share and create. i know i’m preaching to the choir.

anyway to prove that blogging isn’t for sissies, take a look at tara frey’s book all about it. i was excited to get my copy over the weekend and thrilled she included me. thanks, tara. i would show you my own page but don’t have a header so it really doesn’t translate, so i’ll leave you with this beauty instead: rebeccasower.typepad.com which is making me wonder if should get more creative with the layout.

Oh no! Don’t let anyone tell you this is frivolous! I love your blog. I leave feeling refreshed and inspired every time. I also use your links as the beginning of my trips down the blogosphere rabbit hole.

There’s just so much that’s beautiful and soulful here and in the places you link. I get dizzy with all the beauty.

Trouvais is a beautiful blog! I love the green dress and the sparkly lights… and now I have the sudden urge to paint everything PINK!!

Your blog is still my very favorite on of all! I will definitely check out the blogging book cuz I can’t imagine any blog more fabulous than yours! I have a Mac with Safari and it takes forever to create a post, with barely any way to adjust things. Blogging is just not compatible with it… yet. I’d love to learn how to do more. Thanks again for the pretty pics and websites!

Some of my friends think blogging is silly or self indulgent. Others can recite verbatim what I’ve written on a post or they mention a song from my playlist. That is the greatest compliment.

It’s not for everyone and that’s fine with me.

Congrats on your feature in blogging for bliss.

I had to break it gently to my son that his baby picture was in circulation (he was grateful it wasn’t the naked one in the tulips). Thanks for the mention and new best friend label. You have a huge club of devoted followers. I had so much fun digging into your archives…good times. We need more Claudia (You Tube) tours. The great thing about loving beautiful old things…they just keep getting more valuable. Works for people, too. XO Trish

Pink. I hadn’t realized how little we see of it until I saw this post (oh you inspire me as always!). I know what you mean about frivolity – I have had that criticism too and I hate it. People who know me in real life are always surprised when they read my blog, but I’m not sure what that means… Still, The Paris Apartment remains the most inspirational blog that I read, for what it’s worth.
