in with the old

bonjour mes amis! i’ve been at it all day, going through old pics and papers, trying to organize but it’s an endless stack of open ended projects. i thought i’d share some places that were shot for my new book (you’re probably sick of hearing that, i have so many in the works). i’m thinking of using them on my site but my style has changed so much that maybe these are dated. anyway i knew you’d give me your honest opinion!

this started as one of those generic apartments in dallas belonging to tricia, (here’s her before):

this is my friend lorraine’s place, she has so many pretty things

and this one was in chicago, a bachelor who wanted something sexy for when his friends came over on sundays for sex in the city parties. tells you how long ago it was! actually we shot this in HD at the time for a pilot that was sold to the travel channel.

Hi dear . there is nothing wrong join this pictures to your book , they are not aged in my opinion ! that ‘s the power of classic . We are all evaluate in our carrier and it’s good . the one who don’t ,and I know some , are just getting out of work at a pathetic speed .
Could you post some of your actual work ? that would be very interesting to see the transformation ,,,

wow good morning! it’s so nice to wake up to your wonderful words! i do have shot of us working on these places, somewhere. i do have the video of the pilot if you want to see it, i have no idea how to put it online tho…well for the record, we framed out his canopy with 1×2″ on the ceiling and tacked up his fabric, then trimmed it so you wouldn’t see the edge. in the first shots we made her canopy out of that piping from home depot and hung it on eye hooks! i’ll see what i can dig up on the how to’s shots.

AHH! I covet the Chicago bachelor pad still to this day! I remember seeing the images when you originally did the place and tried (in vain) to recreate it! Georgeous Claudia!!!!
Think I might have another go in my new pad when I move in the Autumn, unless you fancy a little charity trip to Blighty to help add some fabulosity to a poor single mums pad?……….
