a new perspective
hi friends, this is a hard post to write… i guess cause i don’t really want to write it, but have to. i’ll be taking a few weeks off from blogging while i develop some projects i’m not allowed to discuss (that’s hard cause i want to share with you)! and rethink my life in general. it’s my birthday in a few days and i’ll be giving myself a gift of freedom from vices (which i need in a big way)! i guess we all go thru times of change and please know that i will be back soon. in the meantime i’ll be visiting your blogs and enjoying life from another angle.

Happy Birthday! Wishing you all the best in this “new year” to come. I have been busy painting on a commission and have not taken time to comment lately. I so enjoy looking at my little hat box of goodies from you. They are displayed in my studio awaiting new projects. I hope you will be good to you, and live into this time of change in your life. I hit a birthday this year that gave me the gift of introspection. I am changing some things in my life also and it feels right. Not necessarily easy, but right.

It is so critical to decompress and give our selves that gift of down time. You have had an amazing and exhausting last few months. I am coming up on a huge relocation of my store. My birthday falls right in the middle of moving week and I am committing to taking the day completely off regardless of what mess I am in the middle of. And in spite of the fact that I will be reopening in the new location 2 days later. I will probably be feeling torn all day.
