bonjour mes amis, i hope you’re getting ready for a great holiday week. i’m in nyc, making the rounds, having coffee with friends and enjoying it instead of working it.
being in the city is great. and exhausting! i wasn’t going to blog but came across my google reader with over 1000 entries to blogs i didn’t realize i’m subscribed to. this is just a smattering that i had to share. i have to check it more often, it’s like having eternity check in at your doorstep! i mean desktop! magical portal!
i hope you enjoyed a little random respite. i just wanted to see everything in one place instead of saving random images. but that’s it, my time is up and i have to shut it down.

not all days are good but there’s good in every day
hi guys, hope you’re having a good week. it seems like i’m always playing catch up and not spending enough time playing! well i did wander around a bit on pinterest, do you know about it? my friend lynn told me about it and it’s beyond addictive but at the same time fills a creative need that i’ve been craving. if you need a little eye candy and some new inspiration, head on over. the quote for my title was one i didn’t ‘pin’ but wish i had so if you come across it, let me know. in the meantime, hope you enjoy the fruits of my hard labor!

it’s always about you
what can i say? it would be a bleak world if it weren’t for the beauty of blogland. of course real life lovely too, but there’s something about being just a click away from the most creative and inspiring people that boggles the mind! par example, just looking thru your comments from the last post led me to all amazing these sites. it’s like a mosaic, if i did the same thing every single day, i’d have gorgeous montages of ideas and images that just never cease to amaze!
unfortunately as i was saving it all yesterday, my computer froze and i had to shut down without having saved all the links. soooooo you know me, a bit of a sorry @$$ who’s not sure of all the links and photos and i don’t have the time to go thru them all again! if you’d be so kind as to let me know which unmarked image is yours i’ll be glad to sync and link it!

it’s the little things
happy monday everyone ~ i hope you’re winding down a little and doing just what you want!
i wanted to introduce those of you who don’t know her to one of my readers, amy friend. she sent me a link to her work today and i just fell in love. in this series she shoots her grandmother’s old nightgowns. if you’re like me, you’re a sucker for those old beauties. i was mesmerized by the way she brings them back to life. they’re almost like sea creatures.
below are some of her interior shots. amazing what good light and french doors can do…oh and the right photographer!

hi guys! i had to cut out for a couple days after starting to fizzle out from techno overload. but i’ve been furiously working on some pretty major stuff i’ll tell you about soon. for now, just wanted to say hey and share a few of the many bloggers who pass through each day leaving bits of beauty in their wake. there’s just nothing that compares to the inspiration other bloggers post each day. i live for this infinite spring of real life lives and wish i could visit each and every one. actually i’m promising myself to do that a little more of that each day. after all, what fun would all this ‘work’ be if there wasn’t be some blogging reward at the end?

all in a day’s work
wow, almost midnight…again! where do the days go? today actually got chronicled, i just noticed i’ve been saving things to the desktop all day. and boy was it a pretty day! and another great day of collaboration with my blog buds. these candelabra (s)? and precious pink chest are from karina gentinetta’s new orleans collection. we teamed up and put these lovelies in the paris apartment’s boutique. i swear, it’s almost like shopping! i highly recommend selling your friend’s beautiful things if you have a retail store or website!
