good morning starshine

hi guys, how’s your brand spankin’ new year? i hope it’s off to a marvelous start!

i had to unplug after much of a muchness and am solar charged now that i’m home. even off the grid life was still whizzing by and i want it to be a memorable year that’s happening so fast. i have simple goals, along with the apple a day and a 30 seconds of yoga, i’d like to get here if only just to remember the day or a snapshot from it. i took this pic at sunrise and so much has happened since then that it seemed irrelevant since it’s almost midnight. but it’s the beginning and end of this day. tomorrow will be here soon and there’s just enough time to kick back and enjoy this night. hope you do too!

January 16, 2012. Miami.

You seem refreshed and recharged! And, it seems that you are trying (I said trying, ’cause everyday life can clinch its jaws on us before we know it) to simplify the everyday so that there is more time to absorb that which is really important to the heart and soul. I pray you are able to do all that you set your heart on. We just love you here in blogland/blogsphere, and want the very best for you. And, the selfish side of us, wants to be able to be a part of it (so I guess the demands can still be a bit high. sorry : )). xo Here-here to 2012!!!!

I know this comment doesn’t refer to your relaxing Miami sunrise, but I was wondering where you found that beautiful pink book of Rene Gruau’s fashion illustrations?

Oh my dear – sounds like you had a lovely time and just what you needed. I could stand a little time off the grid with some sand in my toes!
Hubby and I were just talking about embracing each day with open arms instead of sitting around thinking the good days are ahead! THESE are the good days RIGHT!
    Blessing my dear!
Looking forward to talking with you soon!
