LOVE the peacock feather! I saw gorgeous taxidermy peacocks at Maison & Objet in September (died of natural causes, the vendor assured me). Part of me was repulsed by the thought of Dead Animals As Accessories, but then this other part of me was fantasizing about ways I could incorporate a couple of these magnificent birds into my own dining room… Perhaps feathers are a better way to go than entire birds!

I brake for Peacocks..even in the aisles of craft stores..Joann’s has a beautiful peacock feather wreath. The notion to put a single peacock feather on a scone, however, gives me an excuse to go buy one, and embellish!

Peacocks drop their feathers after summer-so why would you wait for them to expire???
