where were we?
wow, hey everyone and WHEW!
thank you for your amazing notes and comments. may i just tell you that they were the highlights of my days and fueled me to keep on keepin’ on. as aforementioned, i had to back off from all technological diversions while working on le projet. for the first time in my life (ok, maybe second), i actually finished something! yep, (all except the tweak i’m adding right after this…), but it’s still on the down low so more on that in the next couple weeks. in fact, i’m hoping you’ll be a big part of it so thanks for bearing with me!
the hardest part of working without interruption was that old and new friends came by to visit and i haven’t allowed myself the joy and bliss and inspiration and pure pleasure of surfing and blogging for close to a month. suffice it to say i’ll be by and thanks for staying in touch even when i couldn’t.
well…anyway, i’ll be back more often, and will try to get back into the swing of things after i clean up the mountainous piles i let slide during my hibernation .

in the meantime, enjoy these antique perfume labels from the label man at www.thelabelman.com. researching some labels from paris led me to his fabulous online store.
i thought it would be fun to bring these orignal beauties back to life so i looked up antique bottles and found a ton (no surprise). how pretty to have these on your dresser. you can even print your own text on the blank ones. anyway it’s how sad, that’s fun to me…maybe i should get out more! ok i better get to that pile. have a great saturday night, and little by little i’m heading over to chez vous!

Bonjour Claudia,
What a marvelous collection of vintage perfume labels and bottles. Why can’t they make such pretty things anymore. Le Project has been keeping you busy, but I’m sure it will be worth all the hard work. Don’t fret about making your blogger rounds, as you said, little by little.
Don’t work too hard and Bon Dimanche,
Mimi

Bonjour Queenie!
I am so loving the labels:) I will have to agree with my dear gal-pal Mimi. Why don’t they make these beautiful things anymore? Things from yester-year were so beautiful and delicate. I love going to places like Anthropology for that very reason. They have that old fashion flair:) Merci for sharing with us and have loads of fun in Paris decorating the 2 apartments!!!
Royal wishes,
Daisy

i guess that’s why we’re all kindred spirits. at least we care and want to preserve the beauty of the past. sharing it is pure soul food! as for the apartment, there’s only one but it’s a two bedroom ;p
i’ve done it before but will never do two at the same time again!
