i need a flickr intervention! i have to say up front, if you don’t have some free time, step away from the keyboard now. forewarned is fair armed right? hey everybody! i just wanted to say hi and put together some of the tools and toys i discovered over the weekend. it’s everything i ever wanted to know about simple photo effects, from turning a pic into a polaroid and adding reflections, to creating actual books. of course there are countless other things but here are some highlights from flickr and their partners. i’m loving their whole scene:

    WOW! Great sites. I did two blurb books for christmas presents. they came out beautifully, and one of the people commissioned me to expand the book and do a history of their 1800′s house.

    Thanks for sharing all the cool flickr info! Sometimes I feel like Alice falling through the WWW rabbit hole. I can get lost for hours! It is a bit overwhelming sometimes. I must check all that out, though. Now you’ve given me another reason to stay up til the wee hours of the night!

    It just amazes me how many tools us ‘creative types’ have at our fingertips. You can do the polaroid thing on Photoshop as well.
