it’s been a long time coming

hi guys, how’s everything with you? i’ve been pretty busy over the past bunch of months and especially last few weeks, trying to get the new web boutique up and at em as you know. thanks to so many of you blog friends who pushed me to quit stalling and let ‘er fly! there are still little things to fix but it’s finally a site i can manage on my own and it’s a dream come true!

thank you, jeff for making it happen. he’s incredible to work with and has the patience of a pope!
! if you need a great web guy, check him out at www.wickersty.net. (he’s also a magnificent photographer as you can see from his shot above)

i found him through my friend janet’s beautiful site, french blue and co. i hope to add a little animation (like make the feather write out the name) but that’s later. if i waited till it’s perfect then it would never launch!

anyway i’m working with vendors from paris to podunk. the great thing about the bad economy is that everyone wants to sell their merch and work together.

finding stuff to rep is endless! and sure saves on having to house inventory. it’s something we can do with each other too. i have a stationery department and would love to carry my blog friends’ pretty things. textiles too

and accessories too… anyway that’s my next layer, and i’d love you in it!

big thanks too to tori of bella bella co., a true friend i met through blogging. she helped me with design and was more than generous with her bee graphic. she’s uber creative, you may have seen her as the first to do the monkey’s on a chandelier. now it’s everywhere, but she was the first! anyway, thanks for everything, t, and here’s to more in the future! (she’s also a master perfumer ‘nose’ and we’re doing some candles and scents)

so please pop over and um, if you see any typos will you let me know, s’il vous plait? merci beaucoup

anyway now i can get back to having a life, more later! xoc

Your site is so lovely. I had fun purusing it. I did find one error-the year on your next Paris trip. It says 1009, not 2009. I don’t even know why I happened to notice it. Good luck with your business. It’s nice that everyone wants to help each other out.

How exciting! The crazy thing is that I have your book sitting on my bookshelf–bought it some time ago–and I never connected it with this site until I saw the link on your boutique. Feeling very inattentive, but happy with the discovery nonetheless. Congratulations on the launch.

Your site is just fabulous!!! One of the most beautiful websites I have ever seen. That first page knocks me off my feet! Janet Solomon also talked/pushed me into starting my website. I used Jeff Wickersty as well. Isn’t he just a doll? Love, love, love them both and so happy it’s behind me too!!
