of all the things i miss

i think that i miss blogging most. my friends, visiting, sitting with a cup o joe just surfing and enjoying our little community of beauty.

this painting by janet hill was found through one of my favorite blog friends, anna of villaanna.blogspot.com. she always finds gorgeous rooms and artists.

traveling is fantastic, great hotels, restaurants, new places, friends and ideas. but today we’re leaving and the one thing i realized is that i can’t wait to get back to my blog world! it’s another way we all travel, sharing stories, inspiring pics and new creations. skimming comments and blogs each morning is just so unsatisfying!

i was graciously given an award today by another dear blog friend, charlie, the voice of all things pretty from finland.
