before my very eyes
don’t you love carole lombard?
hi all! i just have to share a highlight of my day. i can’t draw and finding a designer for the furniture line was not happening…till my hero stepped in! working with mikey has been so much fun…he’s my muse! together we’re doing the line of boudoir furniture and these are his first sketches. I just died for them! i know i shouldn’t be debuting them yet but i can’t help myself!
as for these particular starlets in these particular poses, it just goes to show you how furniture can really dress up a girl!
how cute is mike?
more to come!

I have to confess I am most fond of the Lombard chair…Wow! What a great ‘story’ that tells… of course the connection of Lombard to Gable might be coloring my thoughts (just a tad… love that Clark!). What a glamourous line of furniture, Claudia! Very, very nice. You and Mikey are quite the team…

I actually grew up in Carole Lombards house! Actually it was her guest house which was later extended. She had a great big pool and spanish tile inside and out of the house. What lovely photos. I especially love that top dress.
