i blame my parents

adsc08451.JPG

they indulged my grandmother who gave me the most beautiful doll house furniture when i was 7. (thanks mom for keeping it all these years). in fact it’s being ravaged by my nieces and nephews who all seem to have the same fascination with it. anyway a photoshoot brought out some of my faves. guess i don’t have to wonder where i got my taste for detail…and satin!

anyway, i am rushing once again. it’s getting to be my theme song here in the city. my boyfriend said i was spending too much time on my blog. i guess he sees it more of a diary, but how do you explain doing what you love? anyway, now i’m feeling all guilty so i may not be around too much for awhile but i’ll try to sneak away! in fact, i have to go right now…

i just had to add that i’ve had the same doll house furniture handed down to me from my aunt! Same chaise, the stool, bed, the gold and black chair! The beds in not so good condition thanks to all the Barbie play it got. Now i’m older and realize how fantastic they are. !!
it’s nice to know other people enjoy them so much!

Yes, you should blame your parents. That is the sweetest little dollhouse set I’ve ever seen. It should be treated with kid gloves. precious. And to think I never even liked dolls or dollhouses myself?? I tell you… if it was that quality I might have changed my mind! LOL!

    Dear Claudia,
Thank-you for mentioning me on your blog and telling your friends about my new website. I am sorry I did not get to posting a thank-you note any sooner, however I have been readying the farm ( frecklefarm) for our new visitors.
Our farm warming is this week.
And Heddy will be visiting too!

Back to your doll furniture. It is amazing how what seems so seemingly non-essential turns out to be one of the biggest influences on our lives. The doll furniture
-your furniture, the glamorous style of it, your glamor.
Any way I am going now.
    I wish you the best
    Robin
