butfly.jpg

that we say goodbye to aunt mickee. she loved butterflies and this store display was so sweet it reminded me of her. (my pics didn’t capture how pretty they are but i didn’t feel like getting yelled at for taking photos so i had to sneak it again)…

birds2.jpg

they also reminded me of some of the things i’ve seen on gorgeous blogs like this one
school.jpg

in my travels yesterday i wandered thru st germain and thought it would have been fun to go to school here…

fleurs.jpg

it’s like a playland in that arrondisment, so crooked, so pretty it’s almost cliche’

velib.jpg

they have a new system here where you can rent bikes for just a couple euros a day…tonite we’re going for a midnite ride so we can have the streets all to ourselves. check them out at velib.

ooh and notice the apartment for rent just above…

    Bonjour Claudia~

Thank you for these beautiful photographs ~ you are such an artist with your camera!! I think these pictures will be perfect to include in your next book!! [wink wink, smile] */:-) In May, I visited the sweetest shop in St. Germaine ~ It is called ‘Harem’ and it is on rue de l’Ancienne Comedie, off Boulevard St-Germain (across and up the tiny cobblestoned street from Le Procope.) Have you been there? It is a tiny bijouterie filled to overflowing with treasures ~ fabulously elegant umbrellas, exquisite hand-made jewelry and parfumes that smell like heaven! The windows sparkled during the day and glowed at night. It reminded me of photographs from your book. So so pretty!

Very special thoughts of you and your Mom and all who loved your dear Aunt Mickee, I am praying for you all right now. May the warmth and tenderness of God’s love, feel as near to you as the air you breathe ~ that’s how close He is. Praying for comfort and precious memories to fill your hearts.

    Blessings to you~
    Cindy

Claudia, I am new to your blog and I just wanted to write and tell you how much I am enjoying your pictures of Paris. I went for the first time June 06 and had the time of my life. I am dying to go back. I stayed in the 7th arrondisement on Rue Cler. Loved everything about Paris, but did not get to go to the big flea markets unfortunately. We did manage a little one in the Marais area and hit some shops in the Village St. Paul. Anyway, thanks for letting me live vicariously through you. Best wishes,

    Lisa
