Nothin but blue skies

Hi there, i hope everyone had a gorgeous Earth Day! Mostly I worked but had the door open and what a tres belle jour it was

I did get to spend a little time outside in Washington Square Park, and a twilight stroll to dinner in Union Square. 70 perfect degrees. now it’s cold again! i can’t wait for hot nights and summertime!

For EarthDay, i have some resolutions: to change all my lightbulbs (uhg), drink less bottled water, use recycled paper products and pass along cool info about being green. Please do the same! I know mine are not at all radical. I’d love to know more about solar power and vegetable oil for my car! What else?? What are you doing?

I am recycling my heart out, changing my lightbulbs too and my next car will definitely be a hybrid. I’m really excited that major companies are now getting into it – seems everyone’s ‘going green’ now!

Recycling always…water from a dispense on my porch and shredding paper to use in packaging ebay stuff.

the chateau project is just getting underway…we are starting in the garden level and working our way up to the grande ballroom…this is where I will need you the most….will need to outsource fabulous window treatments and floor coverings and whatever else I cannot find in Chicago…my deposit from the client should be in the mail as we speak and upon receiving that…I am going back to deliver some things and take more pictures with dimensions etc…of which I will email you….you’re a dear
