California Dreaming
I’m finally heading back to Cali! It’s been far too long. (years?!) Last time was to work on my new book. Going through my pics I found some low res images of some of the great places we’re using. The first thing I have to do is reshoot. Can’t wait to see what these ladies have done since these shots. What a luxury to have a backyard. Here in New York the outdoor space is such a rarity. A woman came into my shop with a twiggy tree that had a couple of tiny orangey brown balls on it. She said was a kumquat. Funny how in CA you can have orange trees in your own yard! What a different life, I can’t wait to get back!!! I just booked the ticket to Long Beach, so I’ll be shopping LA , SanFran, and any place in between, consulting, and looking for great boudoirs and vignettes for my book. What about yours?

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalright…..
Hiya stranger! I FINALLY check in after positively FOREVER and what’s the first thing I see???? You’re shopping in L.A.??????? Holy crap! Brian and I are moving to 90210 from cold and dreary Chicago in a month- wooooo-hoooooo! Will you come out and stay with us so we can have some fun catch-up girly shopping time?? We’ve even got a second bedroom in our new place and I promise to make it the cutest thing EVER! When is this trip- in the next couple weeks? Lemme know- maybe we could meet!
I can’t believe it’s been so long! Give some incredibly huge huge to Lorraine when you see her too, will you?
Lots of love and smooches! xo

Ooooh, I was so excited… I’ll be there, already moved or having just hopped a plane, on the 10th.
Yeah, let’s team up for some bedroom creation, for sure! We’ll have to trawl the fun new places- there’s a place called Bourgeois Boheme and this fantabulous place on La Brea called Little Paris that’s tooooooooo much fun. :-) (Not always to purchase from, but FUN for inspiration!!) Ooooh, and a place owned by Pussycat Dolls’ creator Robin Antin’s mom Brenda on Beverly (simply called Brenda Antin) that’s got Lars Bolander-quality pieces that are out of this world! Ooooh, and so many other cute finds…totallyoverthemoon!
xoxoxo!
